By now, most people are aware that the 300-room Embassy Suites convention hotel is scheduled to open for business at the end of this month. Now comes word that the Country Inn and Suites at 1190 S. Main St. in St. Charles will open in August or possibly in July.

The new hotel will have 84 guest rooms and suites. Amenities will include a business center, a meeting room for about 30 people, complimentary wireless Internet access throughout the hotel, a complimentary breakfast bar, indoor pool, whirlpool, club room and a fitness center. Kinseth Hospitality Cos. and Jim Schoonover are the developers. The architectural firm is LePique & Orne of St. Charles.
