St. Louis-based Tarlton Corp. has received a prestigious 2004 Quality Concrete Award from the Concrete Council of St. Louis for the construction of Tarlton's new headquarters, located right next to the original building the firm had occupied for more than 50 years. The original structure will be demolished.

Tarlton's new headquarters boasts expansive architectural concrete panels, soaring windows, numerous green features and decorative masonry. The building was designed by Christner Inc. and crafted by builders, for builders. The new facility unites its staff of more than 200 people, which had been split between its former headquarters and a smaller building nearby. Their locale under one roof helps Tarlton achieve seamless collaboration and enhanced efficiency.
