A former employee of Cardinal Ritter Senior Services has pleaded guilty to embezzling $169,000 from the nonprofit group - money intended for seniors and disabled adults.
Marie Allen, 54, of St. Louis, admitted to cashing "hundreds of checks" that should have gone to residents of the nonprofit's care centers between January 2002 and May 2006, according to U.S. Attorney Catherine Hanaway.See the full content of this document
