Lawyers and judges defended the state's method for selecting judges Thursday as a legislative critic called for moving to the federal system of judicial appointments.
It was all part of a plenary discussion held as part of The Missouri Bar's annual meeting. The panel included Supreme Court Judge Michael Wolff, Sen. Matt Bartle, Sen. Jolie Justus and Rep.
