The Jackson County Courthouse played host last weekend to the Opening Round Championships of the American Mock Trial Association. More than 180 undergraduate students from 19 schools across the country participated in the event, with the winners moving on to the national championship, to be held April 17-19 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Washington University placed sixth in the tournament and moves on to Des Moines. Students from the St. Louis school won seven individual awards, more than any other school.See the full content of this document
